Introduction:

Sigma Journal of Engineering and Natural Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published quarterly by Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey. The journal covers a wide range of engineering and natural sciences disciplines, including civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, environmental, materials, computer, and biological engineering, as well as physics, mathematics, and chemistry. It publishes original research articles and review articles that emphasize theoretical innovation and practical engineering applications. The journal operates a blind peer-review process. Reviewers are typically given one month to complete their reviews, and the journal aims to reach a final decision within 3-6 months after submission. Based on the latest data, the journal has an impact factor of 0.6, is ranked in Zone 4 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Engineering – Comprehensive), and is indexed in ESCI (Q3) and Scopus (Q4).
