EIECT 2025 Successfully Held at Wuyi University

On October 25, 2025, the 5th International Conference on Electronic Information Engineering and Computer Technology (EIECT 2025) was successfully convened in Lecture Hall 204, attached building of Cewen Business School, Wuyi University. Scholars and experts from across the nation in related fields participated via a combination of online and offline methods. The conference facilitated in-depth discussions and exchanges on cutting-edge areas including electronic information engineering, computer technology, artificial intelligence, and remote sensing image processing.

The conference was hosted by Wuyi University, co-organized by Jinan University, South China University of Technology, and Sun Yat-sen University, and undertaken by the School of Electronics and Information Engineering of Wuyi University, with technical support provided by IEEE.

At the opening ceremony, on behalf of the university, Chen Wenhua, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wuyi University Committee and Vice President, delivered a welcome speech. He stated that against the backdrop of the comprehensive advancement of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area construction, this conference has injected new momentum into the regional electronic information industry. He introduced the achievements of the university and the School of Electronics and Information Engineering in disciplines construction and scientific research innovation. He also mentioned that the Information and Communication Engineering discipline will undertake the application work for the university's doctoral degree authorization point. Noting that this year marks the 40th anniversary of Wuyi University, he sincerely invited participating experts and scholars to gather again in Jiangmen in November to strengthen ties and explore future development.

The conference featured four keynote reports, presenting frontier advancements and top-tier achievements in the field:

  • Professor She Juncong, a national-level leading talent, Supervisor of the State Council's Information and Communication Engineering discipline, and Dean of the School of Electronics and Information Engineering (School of Microelectronics) at Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a report titled "Field Emission Electron Source Chip and Its Applications," introducing breakthrough progress in vacuum micro-nano electronic devices and chip technology.

  • Professor Chen Siwei, a national-level young talent from the College of Electronic Science and Technology at National University of Defense Technology, presented "Intelligent Processing and Applications of Radar Images," delving into the intelligent interpretation of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images and disaster assessment.

  • Professor Zhu Pengfei, a national-level young talent from the College of Intelligence and Computing at Tianjin University, reported on "Key Technologies and Applications for Intelligent Perception in Low-Altitude Environments," showcasing the large-scale drone vision platform VisDrone built by his team and its applications.

  • Professor Ren Bin, a provincial-level Teaching Master, Party Secretary and Executive Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits (International School of Microelectronics) at Dongguan University of Technology, presented "Smart Lithium Battery Systems with High Energy Density, Fast Charging, and Long Lifespan," detailing the R&D progress and industrialization prospects of fast-charging lithium battery systems.

During the oral presentation sessions, young scholars from over ten universities and enterprises presented their latest research findings through on-site presentations and Zoom online participation.

Upon evaluation by the organizing committee, awards for "Best Paper," "Best Young Scholar Presentation," and "Best Poster" were presented on-site to encourage young scholars to scale new heights in scientific research and jointly compose new chapters in technological development.
